The ERC is responsible for assisting the membership in education and training needs.  Career and personal counseling, assistance and referral for all Avaya benefit programs.  The ERC also assists in all represented educational benefits, pension questions, pension packages.

Avaya is a relatively new corporation, and was the “child” of Lucent (itself the offspring of AT&T) when Lucent decided to concentrate on networks and very large telecommunications equipment.
   
Local 7777 represents the Avaya remote and field technicians in the Denver metro region, who keep the communications equipment of both major and smaller businesses running all over the world.
   
Avaya clients range from small business customers all the way to international corporations and include some of the biggest business names in the world.
  
Avaya also takes care of important public services such as fire and police departments, schools, and governments. Avaya workers are available twenty-four hours a day to take care of repairs and outages.
   
CWA Local 7777 is proud to represent these vital technicians.
