Limited emergency funds available for food for low income residents of Douglas County.  Grants are made on a case by case basis and only once a year per household.  Call for specific eligibility requirements; persons cannot be receiving assistance for Social Services.  Need proof of residency.

WIC Programs - (at each of Denver’s 10 Community Health Centers)
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am to 5pm.  Call or stop by for appointment.

People served: Pregnant women, breast-feeding mothers and high risk infants.
Services: Food assistance (receive food vouchers to take to local grocery store for fresh milk, juice, eggs, cheese, etc.).  Nutrition and breast-feeding promotion and support.
