Thousands of customer service jobs in the United States have disappeared as corporations send more work overseas to boost their profits at the expense of working people. Overseas call centers also increase the risk of fraud and identity theft for consumers. But in Colorado, we have a chance to pass a bill that will take a first step to help make sure those good jobs stay in our communities.
Right now our bill is in the State House of Representatives. We need to let our Representatives know that tracking call center job losses and keeping American workers employed should be their top priority.
